We’re excited to announce that Dominique Ansel Bakery NYC has been named a 2020 James Beard Foundation Award Semifinalist for Outstanding Hospitality!

We’re honored and humbled to be a part of this prestigious group, especially as we’re the only bakery on the list! Thank you to everyone who has visited our little shop on Spring Street over the years and for allowing us to show you our way of hospitality. For us, hospitality means a little something different than what you might think for fine dining or sit-down restaurants: it means warm madeleines and hot chocolate for our line each morning, hand-warmers when it’s cold, lemonade when it’s hot, umbrellas when it’s raining, acapella singers for Christmas, and roses for Valentine’s Day. It’s throwing birthday parties for the Cronut® and inviting our loyal guests to wish it a happy birthday, croissant lessons, helping some of our favorite guests get engaged in line, and celebrating all your birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc. together here at the Bakery.
